Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance profitability of regional manufacturing facilities, improving their ability to produce quality products at a cost that can compete in the world labor market.  We realize these goals by promoting the following ideals:

bulletSound application of automated work cells, including robotic systems integration, resulting in reduced direct labor while increasing overall quality.  We strive to offer the best cost-to-benefit ratio and shortest payback possible while maintaining safety, reliability, and ease of use as key characteristics of our automated manufacturing cells.
bulletReintegration of used automation equipment and robots (either customer-owned or bought on the used equipment market) into new manufacturing processes, providing a cost effective means to maximize existing capital equipment and/or lower the initial investment of automating the manufacturing of new products.
bulletMachine rebuilding, a cost-effective alternative to new capital equipment purchases.  This includes safety upgrades that may be required by appropriate governing bodies (ANSI, RIA, OSHA, NFPA) as a result of the rebuilding process.
bulletMachine and work cell relocation, to make room for new product lines, or to enhance process flow through the various stages of manufacturing.  Often changing the layout of a manufacturing process can consolidate labor, and reduce material handling costs.
bulletContracted technical services, including maintenance personnel and automation technicians, to help smaller facilities level peak requirements in technical manpower.  We also provide 24/7 emergency support services for facilities whose maintenance budget does not allow for full-time technical staffing across all shifts of manufacturing.

Our Products and Services

bulletTurn-key robot integration, robotic work cells, and automated manufacturing machinery.  We specialize in material handling, dispensing, and assembly, and also have experience in welding and painting applications.  We provide robotic systems requiring very little technical support in the event of a cycle interruption using complex recovery procedures based on robot position.  This results in the robot being able to return to home upon program reset without risk of collision with other objects in the work envelope.  Our goal is to provide recovery within 3 minutes of a cycle interruption, including power loss, using features accessible to the operator through the HMI.
bulletSystems integration, including design, construction, installation, programming, documentation, and support.  We also can implement additions or changes to existing equipment, including all of the integration to the existing machine and control system.
bulletFixtures and test equipment.  We design and build production test equipment used in the manufacture of pumps and valves.  We design and build fixtures, both manual and automated, to customer specifications.
bulletMaintenance services, including machine rebuilding, component rebuilds, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment relocation, welding, fabrication, and machine shop services.  We can relocate an entire robotic or automated assembly cell, including making any necessary mechanical, electrical, control system or programming changes so that the move is completely transparent to the facility.  Shut it down in one location, start it up in another location.  We don't require plant technical resources to perform these tasks.

Company Profile

Maintenance Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1995 with the goal of providing any outsourced technical service that might be required by an industrial manufacturing facility, including emergency machine troubleshooting and repair, fabrication, component and machine rebuilds, machine installation and rigging.

Responding to our customer requests, our troubleshooting and repair business evolved as we began providing permanent engineered solutions to recurrent customer problems, and ultimately machine building and automation systems integration, building upon our proven ability to correct deficiencies in existing customer equipment.
